Allen was a fantastic host and captain. He took us to the secret turtle reef spot, brought us snorkeling multiple times, and made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. My son absolutely loves him and has already decided we’ll come back again in the near future! It was also wonderful to chat about his good old days in the SF Bay Area and hear what it was like before gentrification.

We booked the 3 hour private charter and it exceeded all expectation! I grew up on Oahu but never explored the sandbar so on a visit back home, I found this tour. Our boat captain Robin was an excellent guide and went snorkeling with us. We saw a nice variety of reef fish and turtles!

The larger 30 person tour also goes to the same spot on the sandbar but Robin timed our arrival and snorkeling to ensure that we weren’t overrun by the larger group. After snorkeling, we had a lot of time to just lounge on the sandbar—perfect weather and warm water. The tour company provides snorkeling gear, paddleboards, floaties, drinks and snacks.

I highly recommend the trip—if it’s in the budget, the private tour is the way to go. If not, the group tour looked pretty good too!

Captain Liko is very friendly and professional. The speed boat was very new and pretty. She guided us to be the first person in sand bar to snorkel for turtles, schooling fishes of all sizes and we even found octopus and eel! It's money worth spent!

Definitely worth every dollar. The sandbar was amazing and snorkeling was perfect. Saw around 8 sea turtles. Our captain was very attentive and friendly and gave us lots of tips on how to best experience the sandbar
