This is our second time on this cruise, and I highly recommend it! Captain Kekoa is THE BEST. We recommended him the second time around, and brought our kiddos, and he was so great. We saw turtles every time, and so many amazing fish and fun activities. It is worth booking. Request Kekoa!

SO THANKFUL for this trip. We are a family of four, kids are 6 & 3. I knew that snorkeling would be a stretch for my kids. This sandbar tour was the best option for us and worked out in all aspects. We did the afternoon snorkeling option with pick up from Waikiki. Shuttle was on time and driver was so friendly. Our crew onboard was Casey, Ryan and Izumi. We also had some help on shore from Karen (I think). Our tour crew was so kind and fun. Most of our tour was Japanese. Having Izumi on board for their language needs was not only fun for us to listen to as well, but also demonstrated the care the crew gave to us. Once out to the sandbar, one kid was so scared to go into the ocean. Casey was kind to encourage and reassure along with me. They had so many paddleboards, floating mats, life jackets, squirt guns and other things. Just being on the sandbar was fun! We even had two turtles swim through our group during that time. It was exciting to see them and to make sure no one touched them with them being so close!
When we got to the snorkeling section, my older kid was suddenly so nervous. I was grateful for the option to have the window float boards for her to be on top of while I snorkeled and took her around. Casey was also encouraging to her, reminding her that we're all together and what she would see. He was helpful for us as parents knowing we were balancing two kids with different needs and fears.
But we did it!! We saw so many fish and so many turtles. I was emotional out there knowing it was something we would talk about for years to come.
The snacks and warm drinks on board when we got on and especially after our water time was SO appreciated and made for happy kids.

This is one of my favorite Snorkeling trips. The crew was organized and very helpful, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was safe and had fun. The water was beautiful. We saw a lot of fish and like 5 big sea turtles.

Definitely recommended for anyone looking to snorkel, whether you're a beginner or pro.

I took my two daughters here and they both loved it. One of my daughter wanted to snorkel on this trip for her belated birthday. She didn’t want me to spend the money to snorkel but she was very happy and had an awesome time. No regrets!! lol I do not know how to swim and it was a super windy day, one of the staff suggested to not go out to snorkel but Captain Bruce said nope I’m going. I’m glad I did. He was very patient with me and gave me a mini lesson before heading out. I was comfortable and saw a lot of fishes and turtles. All the captains and crew members were nice, informative and great. Bring cash to tip. I highly recommend this to everyone. It is beautiful. Wished I had more time. Definitely will be back when I visit. Thank you Captain Bruce and your crew.

We booked speedboat tour this time.
Our captain take good care on all of us, 2 of us are not good at swim, he always look after on them, it makes us felt safe and satisfied.
We spent a cozy time at the sandbar, enjoyed the sun and activities there.
And we saw many sea turtles over there.
We do recommend to visit the sandbar through Captain Bruce, it is the best experience we had in Oahu.

We took our adult daughter to Hawaii for her birthday (she had never been there before). She said that Captain Bruce's tour was the highlight of our vacation. She and my husband went snorkeling and saw turtles and lots of fish. They also had plenty of time to try stand up paddle boarding, or just hang out and play in the water. My daughter absolutely loved it!

From a non-swimmer's point of view (me), it was still a great time. Out on the sand bar, the water is only about waist high, and they have floaties and life jackets available so you can still get out and walk around in the water. I mostly stayed on the boat which is fully shaded and a great place to watch your family doing all their water things. There were plenty of snacks and soft drinks and places to sit. There is even a toilet and a sink to wash your hands.

Our crew was great! Very efficient, very friendly, and very helpful! Everything was extremely well organized and very clean as well. I can't think of any changes to suggest, they seem to have already thought of everything. I would definitely recommend this tour ! ! ! It is especially suited for beginners.

We had an absolute blast. The crew and captain were the best. Would definitely recommend.

Our captain was so caring and kind and respectful. Scattering our loved ones ashes is difficult but he made it a joyful experience. And we appreciated him giving the history of the area.
