Can we go to Kailua Beach with a boat charter?

Commercial boat tours in Hawaii must adhere to regulations defining permitted routes and activities. Additionally, no commercial boat company can offer boat tours from the port of Kaneohe (Heeia Boat Harbor) to Kailua Bay.

The only realistic way to go towards Kailua by boat is to charter a boat that can navigate from the Waikiki area to the east side of Oahu. While access by kayak from the Kailua beach is possible, if you prefer a boat tour, a private charter is your option (approximately 3 hours from the Waikiki area to the Kailua area).
