Earth day Beach Cleanup at Bellows Beach

Earth week event Apr 21 through 27 in Waimanalo area

Today, our staff volunteered at a beach cleanup organized by Sustainable Coastlines Hawai‘i (SCH) at Bellows Beach. While known for its beauty, the beach unfortunately contains microplastics and other small plastic debris hidden in the sand. Using SCH’s ingenious sifting tools, we collected plastic waste, making a difference for the ocean’s health.

Remember, every day is Earth Day!

By participating in cleanups like this, we can all contribute to a cleaner and healthier ocean, one piece of trash at a time. Want to get involved? Visit SCH’s website to learn more about their cleanup efforts and volunteer opportunities!
