29th Annual Honolulu Festival is set to take place from March 7-9, 2025
– What is Honolulu Festival and Nagaoka Fireworks? –
The Honolulu Festival is a cultural exchange event held in Hawaii every March. It was founded in 1995 by the Honolulu Festival Foundation and is supported by the City and County of Honolulu, the Hawaii Tourism Authority, JTB, JAL, and local businesses. The festival was canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it resumed in 2023. The Grand Parade on the final day features performances by people from Hawaii, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Why can you see Nagaoka fireworks in Honolulu? The City and County of Honolulu and the City of Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, became sister cities in 2012 with the aim of deepening Japan-US friendship and contributing to peace. Since then, Nagaoka fireworks have been launched on the final day of the Honolulu Festival. The fireworks are a symbol of the strong commitment of both cities to peace.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cruise Fee:
Any cancellations made after noon of 2 days prior to the tour will be subject to a 100% cancellation charge of the total amount of the tour.
Paid Transportation Service:
Not refundable after noon 2 days before the tour regardless of the reason including cancellation due to inclement weather.
