When can I go out on a charter?
Whether it’s the world-famous Kaneohe Sandbar, Leeward Coast or Waikiki Skyline, we offer sunrise, mid day, and sunset charters. On Friday’s in Waikiki we offer Firework Cruises where you can watch the Hilton Hotel Fireworks set off after sunset over the night sky.
It is a 2 hour minimum when booking a charter with us but you may book as long of a charter as you desired in the same day. Please ask our booking agents for start time options.
Can I have more than 12 guests in my group?
Each boat in our fleet can carry a max passenger limit due to Federal U.S. Coast Guard Regulations.
If you have a group larger than 12 passengers, you do have an option to book more than one vessel to join your party together out at sea.
How will I get to the harbor?
Whether you are staying out of Ko Olina or Waikiki area we offer transportation for your group from hotel to harbor and back.
If you wish to Uber or ride share one or more ways, that is perfectly fine as well.
Our professional drivers will take care of you and even allow for pit stops if needed to pick up any last minute necessities.
Where does my boat depart from?
We offer private charters from a variety of harbors in order to offer the different sides of the Oahu island.
Coppelia, Serendipity, and Moana are available from Leeward side at Ko Olina Marina or famous Waikiki side at Kewalo Basin Harbor. Pearl is only available out of Waikiki and on our Windward side charters for the well-known Kaneohe Sandbar, we offer Deluxe Lounge Boat and Speed Boat.
What is included?
What is not included?
Alcoholic beverages are not provided or sold on board. Please remember to BYO whatever you choose.
You may choose to include gratuity at the time of booking or at the time of your private charter. If desired, please allow the 15%-20% gratuity to split for crew and captain.
What will we see?
During November to May, with the peak of the season being from January to March, you will have a chance to see Humpback Whales that migrate here to mate and raise their young.
At the Kaneohe Sandbar there are a plethora of turtles to watch in the coral while you snorkel and one in particular who loves to swim up the boat!
What you should bring
We recommend you pack your swimsuit, reef safe sunscreen, any alcoholic beverages you wish to enjoy and an appetite for fun in the sun.
What not to bring?
Unfortunately, we do not allow any self-tanning oils, bronzers or spray sunscreen on board. These products make our decks very slippery and can/will stain both our bow and flybridge seating areas.
Also sunscreens that contain oxybenzone, octinoxate, or any other reef destroying chemicals should not be applied if you are intending to go into the water. If you do not wish to bring your own, we do supply reef safe sunscreen on board.
Please no smoking of any kind on board and no need to bring towels from your hotel and return with them sobbing wet, we will provide plenty of clean towels for after ocean activities.
Can I customize my private charter?
The crew and captain will work hard to make sure your needs and expectations are met and surpassed. We want to make your day as comfortable and relaxing as possible so if you have any requests, let us know!
You will be able to choose food menu options based on your likes/dislikes and allergies. We also have several water toys and activities to choose from and add on for your day out at sea.
We are happy to arrange flowers and cake for birthdays, anniversaries, or business functions.
Please let our booking agents know if you have any questions.
What if there's hazardous weather at the time of my departure?
In Hawaii, the weather may change instantly and in the case of severe storms we do offer cancellation refunds or charter rescheduling without additional fees. Please call our office if you are inquiring about weather conditions for a specific date. Remember without rain, Hawaii would not have rainbows!
The captain holds the right to make the final call determining if conditions are safe for your group to enter the water for snorkeling. During certain times of the year, currents and swells may be stronger and larger than other times and may be unfit for guests to be in the water.
Our main priority is to insure a fun and safe time out at sea.
