Mary Grace / Sandbar Snorkeling Tour 1st Tour

Booked through Captain Bruce. I chose the first tour at 9am and was picked up from Hilton Hawaiian Village at 730am. The tour included snacks such as spam musubi, chips, drinks, water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Their guides were so helpful, so kind. They even volunteered to take pic or videos of us.
I told my guide, Casey, that I didn’t know how to swim. He said it was ok and that he would guide me though the entire thing. Everyone was required to wear a life vest while snorkeling. He guided me though my snorkeling, pointing out the fishes and turtles š¢ so I wouldn’t miss them.
There were many times water went into my mask. He lifted my mask for me to remove the water.

From the sandbar, I was able to view Kualoa Ranch, the place where Jurrasic Park, Jumanji and Lost were filmed. I also saw Gilligan’s Island.
It was such a memorable experience and I will surely do it again.
If you’re interested in going to the sandbar, check the tide chart.
I went when it was supposedly low tide but the water was up to my chest. It didn’t stop me from having fun.
