CAPTAIN BRUCE offers a private Waikiki cruise that coincides with the Nagaoka Fireworks, which is the finale of the Honolulu Festival held in March. Enjoy the fireworks that light up the night sky of Waikiki from a private boat. It will be a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the Nagaoka Fireworks in a truly unique way.

The Honolulu Festival is a cultural exchange event held in Hawaii every March. It was founded in 1995 by the Honolulu Festival Foundation and is supported by the City and County of Honolulu, the Hawaii Tourism Authority, JTB, JAL, and local businesses. The festival was canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it resumed in 2023. The Grand Parade on the final day features performances by people from Hawaii, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Why can you see Nagaoka fireworks in Honolulu? The City and County of Honolulu and the City of Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, became sister cities in 2012 with the aim of deepening Japan-US friendship and contributing to peace. Since then, Nagaoka fireworks have been launched on the final day of the Honolulu Festival. The fireworks are a symbol of the strong commitment of both cities to peace.
Three preset cruise plans
We offer three plans that coincide with the Nagaoka Fireworks schedule. The plans are tailored to your needs, including a boat rental-only plan and plans with appetizers or dinner by a private chef on board.
