CAPTAIN BRUCE DONATED TO MAUI WILDFIRE RELIEF PROCEEDS FROM A CHARITY TOUR
We organized a charity tour at the Kaneohe Sandbar on August 18th from 1:30 pm to support Maui. 40 generous guests joined us on the tour. All proceeds from the tour were donated to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation through the New Hope Rebuild Maui Fund .
Words cannot even begin to express our sympathy for the victims of the Maui wildfires. We are especially saddened by the sudden loss of your loved ones, homes, and businesses, and we can only imagine the despair they must be feeling in the face of this unfathomable tragedy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Maui.
We do not think that the small things we can do will make up for the loss or heal the deep sadness, but we want to help by making a donation to help our Maui ohana.
We are deeply grateful to the guests who participated in the charity tour. Your support has made a real difference. We would also like to thank He’eia Pier General Store for their generous support and cooperation.
We are committed to supporting the recovery of Maui and will continue to look for ways to do more in the future.

Hula Girl and Shangri-La sailing charters
Hula Girl and Shangri-La sailing charters have provided wonderful boat tours in Kaanapali Maui, for many years. However, in August 2023, a major fire destroyed the company’s base facilities in Lahaina. The company is now seeking financial assistance to support its crew and to rebuild its facilities.
We sincerely hope that the day will come soon when tourism in the Lahaina area resumes, and their beautiful catamarans will once again set sail from Ka’anapali Beach with you aboard.
