What are reef shoes?

Reef shoes, also known as water shoes, are worn for marine sports and similar activities to protect your feet from shells and rocks while walking in the ocean.

They’re not a required item, so some guests bring them and some don’t. Since the area around the sandbar can have rocky patches in some spots, wearing reef shoes can offer some peace of mind if you’re concerned about your footing.

For safety, we ask guests to remove beach sandals and regular footwear once on board, but reef shoes may be worn as-is.
